1. How does Silk Web Directory work?

Silk Web Directory lists links alphabetically in order of highest bid. Bids can be purchased for a web site at any time, by anybody, and all bids are counted toward a web sites total bid. The top 10 bidding web sites are displayed prominently on the home page. In addition, the highest bidding link will be displayed on every page of the directory.

2. How do I add my web site?

Adding a web site is very easy. Just place your order ensuring you place a bid of at least $1.00 and your web site will be added to the directory.

3. I added a web site, now how do I bid on it?

If you added your web site you should have been sent directly to the web site details page, where you can place a bid. An email is also sent to the address which you used during submission with instructions on placing your first bid.

4. I placed a bid, but it was never counted!

If you placed a bid but it was never counted toward your web site, please contact us with details of the transaction and the email address that payment was issued from. After verifying your payment information your bid will be applied as quickly as possible.

5. How long will my web site be listed in the directory?

Once listed, your web site is displayed permanently. As time passes you can increase your bid to keep your web site at the top of the listings.
